Depends on the issue?

Discord itself I have no issue with; it's mostly stable, it's a good and intuitive platform for discussing games, or even other topics and it's helped me stave of numerous unpleasant mental states during the pandemic. It's pretty fabulous for whatever you want or need in a platform, and it's designed in a way that keeps it simple and easy to get to grips with.Though I would note the mobile app doesn't have some of the more useful features, and often (if not always) applies a white background to PNGs you upload, meaning if you want some custom emotes or pip with no background, you need to go ahead and use the browser platform anyway. However, I would note that I personally have a problem with at least someone in the help team. I switched to a new account, and I was unable to apply my apple ID to my discord account; 1 contacted the discord team, who told me it was an apple issue, and the apple team told me it was a problem with discord.Basically both groups pointed at each other, and ultimately told me I needed to wait 180 days at least. I waited, and after the time period it still didn't work; so keep in mind that if you want to switch account, you will need to use a non-apple form of payment if you want any sort of Nitro. Though if you want to try anyway, I suggest having the refund apple page open in your browser, because you're going to need it, since they'll still take the money anyway.
Life changing

Discord has changed my life. Like many people it has thoroughly converted me and I suggest many other people join. The big downside is that it’s not beginner friendly at all. You have to be very lucky to find a nice server at first or even work out where to locate servers. Having used it for years though and being very familiar with it I think there is no better social media, no better communication tool. I would definitely recommend it but only if you have the sort of personality which doesn’t give up, you’re the sort of person who can stand to research and find the right servers. Join hundreds before finding the right ones. Once you get on a good server though it’s like coming home and finding a family, a community. I think that’s what discord has more than any other social media. A sense of community. I would personally recommend Disboard as a way to search for servers, it’s where I advertise my server Hogwarts 2.0. It may be less popular than Discord Me, but it is so much easier to set up, so you’ll find a lot fewer invalid links from people who haven’t configured the settings properly. All I would say is jump in and give it a go! It’s daunting at first but so worth it. I wish you luck and have fun. Ps. Since this is a review of the app I should probably actually describe the experience. It is very smooth and well developed but could do with giving more pointers as to how to use it and there are lots of features you are locked out of on a phone compared to a computer.
Discord - pros and cons

Discord is an app where you can join different communities and make new friends, or keep in contact with family/ friends. You can also make your own server and give out unique rolls to different members while you can create your own emoji’s and stickers. However, the downside of discord is that you have to pay for nitro which I think is really unfair because half of the prices go up to £100 just to boost a server and it’s unfair because not everyone can afford that money. I’d recommend toning down the prices a bit. I get it, we all need to make money at some point in our life’s, but you should think about setting responsible prices for an app and make Nitro cheaper…£100 for an app is just a bit much. I don’t think I would want to pay £100 for an app when I could be using that money to pay for a roof over my head. That much money is just as much how i would need to pay bills and it’s not fair on a lot of people. Not everyone has a rich life! The app does crash now and then but they fix it almost immediately, which is a good thing. They also have support which is another good thing because if you got bullied or harassed in servers/ chats, you can report the situation to Discord. You can also block any user if they make you uncomfortable. Overall, Discord is great. It’s a very chill place when you want to chill in your free time. The only downside of the app is the prices of Nitro and the boosts. In my opinion I think that customising your profile should be for free.
Voice calls now show up as a Live Activity, letting you see your friends’ beautiful avatars and the icon for the server or Group DM that you’re in. You can also access Discord’s Mute and Deafen buttons directly from your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.
There are a LOT of small-but-meaningful fixes across iOS this month, such as VoiceOver improvements, smoother Forum channels and less chunky scrolling. Grab a warm cup of coffee/tea/whatever tasty drink you prefer, open up dis.gd/PatchNotes and spend an evening reading all of them. One… by… one…
