Convinced you’ve run out of things to watch? This app is brimming with brilliant films, dramas, and comedies, as well as sports and children’s TV, all available to watch on demand.

  • Continue watching section

I am watching a long TV show of 6 seasons. I use Prime on my TV and IPad. Yet, when I open the app, I don’t see my series easily, there is no a “continue watching” or is not consistent, I always scroll down to see if I can find it but many times I have to manually search for its name on the search functionality. Is something that should be basic and straightforward in a few clicks. This makes me quite frustrated with the app

  • What I don’t understand…

    5aMue127

Is why I have to watch adverts on movies that bought. Not rented, I can understand rented even though I hate it but the movies where I’ve paid full price, I think is a step too far. Especially when I can buy them from a competitor and don’t watch adverts. Otherwise very happy. Was virtually a perfect subscription until you added the adverts and for someone whose been a member since 2010 I don’t agree with it

  • A small bug problem

    1960 fan

The app is good, but right now I’m having a problem for some reason it keeps showing what my sister is watching on my homepage. I did find the cure of clear cache but it keeps doing it and it’s so annoyingPlease can you fix it?

  • No watch history available within the app.

    Spiggot8

I tried to watch a film last night and fell asleep. The film finished right up to the credits while i slept. Now I can’t find it again because there is no watch history in the app. It does not appear in the “continue watching” list because you think I watched it until the end. This is ludicrous. You use my watch history to propose content. Why can’t I see it? All other platforms propose this very basic functionality. Seriously this deserves a negative 5 stars because it’s so basic.

  • Forgetful

    The great wolf

While there is a good selection of shows, the app itself is poor. The ‘continue watching’ section currently only shows that I haven’t touched in months while excluding the one I’m actively watching (which I have to relocate every time through the search function instead). There is also a long running issue with series where the app will sometimes forget which episode you were on and play something much earlier that you’d already seen.

When I am watching an episode of something, a lot of the time an advertisement will suddenly come up and when the advert is finished it will have skipped to the next episode randomly. Increasingly, when I am watching an episode it will suddenly stop playing and then it just won’t work so I can’t watch i. Thirdly, if I stop watching an episode and then come back to it later, it will just play from the beginning and not from where I stopped watching

  • non-stop buffering

    prime is bs

First of all it keeps buffering every other episode, just randomly and then comes up with an error and won’t continue the episode. Quitting the app does not help. It’s not a connection problem it’s not a device problem, literally every other app runs perfectly on the same wifi on the same device. Second of all the amount of ads, wow. Spend more time watching the ads and the buffering than the TV show.

  • Update on IOS weekly, unable to work for 24hrs

    AnonPremiumSub

Why do updates keep negatively impacting users? For the past three months, I’ve been locked out of the app almost weekly, and it’s becoming extremely frustrating. Despite multiple restarts and updates, the app consistently stops working for nearly 24 hours each week. As a premium user, I expect a far more reliable experience. Frequent outages and instability make the service feel unreliable and disappointing.

  • No ‘resume’ option, skips back to the start!

    binches2978

It took me about 15 years of my life to watch a 2-hour film. So many ads in the 1st hour, then, whilst there were fewer ads in the 2nd half, it kept buffering as though it was going to show an ad then resumed after a bit. And heaven forbid you pause a vid for a couple of minutes to grab a drink, go to toilet, check on a child, accept a delivery…the damned video will shut down and rewind back to the beginning. Then you have to watch 5 minutes of ads just to get back to where you left off! I started watching a film at 12:30 - I’ve only just finished it at 15:30 despite it being a 2-hr long film. I was interrupted by several delivery men getting me to sign for parcels, and the film rewound to the beginning every single time, plus 5 mins of ads at each resumation. I hate this app, it’s not worth the cost. FIX IT!!!!

  • 6 minutes of ads per hour, Amazon’s greediness knows no bounds

    Maryannewt

I just restarted my monthly subscription for Prime so I can gain access to prime video. I thought I was paying to avoid ads as before this app did not work like that. Yet here I am, getting aggressively blasted by six minutes of unskippable commercial garbage every single hour just to watch a 40-minute episode of a show.Let's do the math: if I watch two hours of TV a night, you are literally stealing 73 hours of my life a year to pitch me dish soap and insurance that I don’t freaking want to see!!!!! I ALREADY PAID YOU and you’re literally stealing my time forcefully. This is a straight-up corporate shakedown. You didn't innovate or build a better app. You literally took a service that was half decent before and that I was already paying for, broke it on purpose, and now you’re holding my sanity hostage for a "premium fee" just to fix what you ruined. You even stripped away 4K and Dolby Atmos on the base plan because apparently being a billionaire isn't enough anymore. If I wanted the traditional, nostalgic 1990s cable TV experience of sitting through endless, mind-numbing ad breaks, I’d go visit my grandmother.Congratulations on single-handedly reviving internet piracy. I'm cancelling. 0/5 stars.
