All of a sudden I couldn’t access my leagues then when I want to transfer two injured players out of my squad the app just wouldn’t allow me to do it. Tried unloading and reloading, logging out and logging in to no avail. So I guess I’ll miss out this week on my transfers 😡

My family and I have been using the sun dream team for years and years now and we think it’s absolutely great. Yet this season the layout of the app is really difficultto navigate, it’s constantly glitching, and we’re now two games into the season and none of the points have registered yet. This is a massive downgrade from before; they shouldn’t have bothered changing the layout as it was much better and way less laggy. Go back to the old dream team! This version is lucky to get 2 stars.

Having played all the Sun Dream Team games since it’s inception I consider myself to be a reasonable judge. There have been many improvements since it started. No limit to players from the same team and fluctuating players prices governed by their form being the best. However the ongoing player transfer issue is still an ever present problem. Despite numerous tinkering with both quantity and regularity Sun dream team haven’t managed to solve it. We the fantasy league managers still need more transfers to bring us closer to emulating the role of the Premier League Manager. If you are lucky and fortunate enough to only have a few injuries then all is well but if you are very unlucky and have more than 5 injuries then it could be curtains. If Sun Dream Team have aspirations of improving further then they must address this. May I suggest a squad rather than the bare 11 players, a maximum number of open transfers for the season accessible from day one and a couple of complete team resets, as some other fantasy games offer should address this. Fix this issue and the final star is yours

Great game needs a few changes team managers can lose out if players are picked and do not play I had a team one week and I lost seven players I was top of my league now I am 5th it’s not that I dropped down the league I fell that if a team is picked and have no players playing I think to be fair that who ever takes the place of the of the players. Should replace the ones left out then at least every body has a full team. At time of play if your player comes on later in the game you have to keep the one put in his place do away with the 5subs it’s or you can have 5 subs per game like they do on the pitch another how can a sub defender lose his clean sheet when he was not on the pitch you are penalising the whole team and losing 5points when the back line lets in a goal it should be minus 1 point per goal let in from total games points the tacking the points of the back line you penalise the whole team to Much all in all it’s a great game yours h g woolley

The app is really p*ss poor and crappy. I only use it for a little competition with the lads, If it was a payed app (Like Fantasy Premier League that's actually good quality) id be absolutely outraged that is bought it but as its free i can't really complain. I think you really need to fix how slow the app is like it'd way way too slow and it struggles to load some times. Always telling me I have an emergency transfer yet I can't use it? I can never check it on a match day because it's 'experiencing high traffic,' come on that's poor isn't it? Also the point scoring system isn't amazing either. I believe there should be more though within the scoring system for example why would Rooney deserve 30+ points for a hattrick against Club Brugge? I believe the strength of the opposition and the quality of the two teams should come into it. I don't see why scoring 3 against a bog standard probably bottom half premier league equivalent should be rated so highly? He hasn't done anything so far in England that there players couldn't! Just a though but I hope you take things like this in!

The game is great but i cannot understand who gives the points out? There is a clear bias towards certain teams and players. I watched Crystal Palace v Arsenal play out a 0-0 draw and 14 players have 7+ averages in easily the worst game of the season yet some teams play great dominate and are lucky to have 3 players with 7+ averages. Add to that in a European game where a team loses 2-0 and their defender gets mom when hes cost his team the 2 goals. I wonder if anyone actually watches the matches as the points scoring and man of match awards are bonkers the majority of the time. To avoid a clear bias when a game is on the tv surely the guy who the pundits pick as mom would be better than someone from dream team who clearly hasn’t watched the game to just hand pick a favourite? The pundits are never far off the mark. Sun dream team is often miles off the mark. That said the game itself is brilliant and if scored more accurately then it be almost perfect. It would also be good if International matches were added to the scoring.

I am now annoyed in how you expect us to try and make points when we only have 3 transfers the whole season. Understandable to see how everyone will later find out the best and just pick them, leaving people to see an unvantage on who really is the best at picking out a team. However, as a Liverpool fan I stick out with my players and for me I find it hard to choose who I want and make points. So far shaqiri hasn’t played or fabhino, I’ve had to switch lovren for Gomez and soon he should be back on. I can’t keep changing when i have a limited number and that leaves me to then hope the team line up is close to mine. I don’t like this. I want to get the most points I can for Liverpool and compete with others who live their club and have the same Idea. This transfer system was horrendous in the World Cup and it is now. Please fix it now and yes again their are troubles, but at least one or two transfers a game is enough dream team.

The biggest season of the premier league is finally underway! and the worst edition of the sun dream team app is finally here too!! Yeaaaaaaah over the course of the last few season, World Cup and euros Myself and my friends have mini created leagues so I have witnessed the different features and updates that have came to this app, this season offers the worst yet, for some reason you can't view each other's teams, the points table is upside down putting the teams with the lowest points at the top of the page which is just more annoying than anything else. Points tally resets weekly, and the points gathered by your individual player is also to check on them you have to click every individual player wish is just more time consuming than anything else, like many people I'm sure your changes are made in your dinner break time is of the essences! And easy usability even more so! Please bring back the user friendly style the one featured in the recent euros wasn't half bad ! Let's not ruin what this app is truly about the bants!!

I gave the app Three stars last year and this year it's now a One. It's so badly made. I often wonder who they pay to make things worse for them functionality wise. I will add some of the rules implied this year are simply madness which has added to my rating, things like you can't join mini leagues late, but the app is also poor in respects of the searching of mini leagues doesn't work, the pins for leagues don't work, the transfer system is terrible, you can't view your teams season scoring on one page, you have to click on players, plus with 3 transfers a month everyone will just end up with the same team come the end of the season. For as something as simple as fantasy football I'm simply amazed that the Sun as a company pay people to make an app for them which simply is poor at best. Have a meeting ask what people want when they play fantasy football and develop that into an application which actually provides those functions. It's lucky they sell newspapers because this app is terrible.

Like all fantasy games I love the concept and a lot of the rules are spot on. However this game makes it too obvious and lacks invention. It’s weighted far too heavily in favour of the top players in the top 4 teams. The game should have more restrictions to make it less predictable. You should make the player values vary more so you can’t just fill your team with the top players from the top 4/5 teams. You should also put a max limit on the number of players from any one team - 2. Every top team has Kane, Salah, Aguero, Hazard, Sterling in them more or less. Then Most also can still squeeze in Van Dijk, Robertson, Laporte, Allison Kepa or Ederson too. Personally, to make it fairer to the other prem sides, I don’t think you should include European games - or restrict a team to have a max of 5/6 players that are in teams in Europe by increasing the value of these players significantly so you can’t get more than 4/5 top players into a team.
