Seems like a decent app and the ideas are good. But for example hosting is tricky, it can take a while before finding anyone to do the raids. And sometimes I find myself waiting 20mins + only to have had no one joining the lobby. Which makes me think it’s broken sometimes because there are times when it finds people instantly but that’s on rare occasions. Please fix this to ensure those waiting the longest get a group made up. UI could do with some improvements to make it easier to navigate. But overall not bad. Also the option for bigger raid lobbies would be good especially for when there are 6 star Raid bosses such as Mega Latios. This would help keep confidence within the raid group and ensure we have enough people rather than people quitting last second.

With the new showcase update this could be epic and show you the places of showcases, and if you are part of it, or whatever else, but right now it just lacks. Even it’s main feature is dwindling because of how it’s run. I often want to do more of the mega raids than the legendary ones and I’m not remote raiding for anything other than regional 3 star or 1 star raids so it could be improved through the use of what you’re looking to raid too. Also it never seems to show me anything from anywhere other than my own country. A little while back the lake trio was on, but had I been using campfire I’m not sure i would have got anything other than my own regions Pokémon. This could be great but it requires improvement to get there

I use it near enough every day and it works completely fine. I don’t know why people keep saying about not being able to look at other countries raids because you only need to focus on the ones that are near you. If you want to remote raid one use Pokeraid it works really well and is easy to get used to. The reason for 4 star is because I keep trying to change my profile picture and I click save and it doesn’t save it. I clicked it around 20 times and it didn’t work. That’s the only thing in my opinion is wrong.

I wish the company would do more to enable it for more people and incentivise people to use it more for the social aspect, but I love the functionality. The ability to see all raids within a certain radius so easily to organise where and when I need to be somewhere without walking around checking gyms in range is extremely helpful. I do wish we could see current team rocket stops on it, though. That would be a huge improvement!

It does its job well enough, the only issue is it’s useless for ‘team up’ raids like primal groundon because you need atleast 10 players, your capped at 6, but for a casual player like me who doesn’t do a lot of remote raids, it’s not an issue,Another issue with the team up function is that it takes like 10 mins to find a whole 6 players to remote raid with which is a lot.The played who remote raid are generally very good and make it easy to do raids with which is good

Pokemon go user- The app is good for certain levels of raids, but rubbish for others. Eg. Primal kyogre or groudon seems to require at least 10 players. The app allows for max 6 and you then can’t invite any additional people to the raid. Either Pokémon go needs updating so people can invite their friends to campfire arranged raids once in, or campfire needs updating to reflect the correct amount of people. Otherwise this is just a remote raid pass pit with failed raids and wasted passes. Won’t be using it for anything above basic legendarys until it’s updated. Disappointing really.

Niantic has to put time into this after doubling the price for remote raid passes and making it harder and less accessible for people living in more rural areas to enjoy the game. this app could be a shining light but is so buggy. when I host a raid and invite people using copy paste only a couple of the people from campfire actually show up in the invite area, no matter if I try to only type the names that aren’t coming up or whatever. Other times I’ll try to host and campfire won’t find anyone to join for over 10 minutes of waiting. joining is also painful as it doesn’t update with how many people have made it into the lobby. you also have to decline a bunch of raids you’re not searching for as the app doesn’t allow to you to search for people only hosting X raids. put work into the app, hire me I’m a software dev idc I’ll fix it

All the features work, very accurate with raid timers and can see all gyms outside of view in the normal Pokémon go app, able to message and receive messages to friends or maybe anyone, well integrated with in game buttons/links from Pokémon go into this app, idk why it took like 6 years but better late than never aha well done Niantic

So much potential with the features in this application, but executed so poorly. The main feature for me is for hosting/joining raids, but this feature rarely works. I can join a raid in seconds, but it takes a while to find a full party, and even then the host doesn’t initiate the raid. I’ll then host a raid of my own but no one joins. This experience wastes so much time. I don’t know why I keep trying it even after 2 years, there are better options out there for raiding.

We initially recommended our local community to use this app to help build up in person raid groups. But following a series of crimes revolving around it, including it being used to lure people for robbery. I’ve recommended everyone delete the app for their own safety and we’re using the tried and tested methods of using our Facebook group to find raiders in our area and set up chats accordingly. So much potential danger with this app and that needs addressing before its used for something worse.
