Great Game

Is a great game and I have played it from it’s first release days, I love the constant updates and improvements that you add, a bit hard to get better after you reach about rank 20 (did during my 20 year old season). It is difficult as it gets so expensive and hard to upgrade, I got to about a rating of 75 then it took so much time and money to get further, this I all did without spending any real money.

Is a great game and I have played it from it’s first release days, I love the constant updates and improvements that you add, a bit hard to get better after you reach about rank 20 (did during my 20 year old season). Really fun and addictive tennis career game with a great sense of progression. Building your player from the lower rankings and slowly working towards the top is genuinely rewarding, and I’ve spent a lot of time playing it. The retirement and second-career system also gives the game good replay value. My main issue is that progression can sometimes feel frustratingly slow, especially when you’re defending lots of ranking points and get stuck at the same ranking for a long time. A few improvements to progression and some more variety would make it a 5-star game. Overall, definitely one of the best tennis manager games I’ve played.

A few improvements to progression and some more variety would make it a 5-star game. Overall, definitely one of the best tennis manager games I’ve played.

Really enjoy the game and the concept, however after reaching a ranking of 600 there seems to be a bit of a paywall. There is a massive jump in skill of opponent from contender to mtf-100 tournaments and to increase skill takes a lot of time. On top of this it is very difficult to progress up the rankings, my last 2 mtf-100 tournaments I made the semi-final yet lost ranking points (to me this doesn’t make sense) that essentially means I’m in the top 4 of that ranking bracket yet went down??? And so after making 2 semi’s I can no longer compete. So I had to enter a contender tournament, which I won, my reward... no ranking points. Makes me feel like I can’t progress in the game further:

Actually, there are many ways to earn money in Top Seed: Official Matches, Hitting Partners, Tennis club (if you have active friends), many Challenges, Daily rewards, Facebook Contests, Instagram Stories. If you're patient, you can even make it to the top during the 1st career. If you aren't, don't worry: you'll benefit from major bonuses during your second career! Moreover, the ranking is based on the ATP system. Your ranking is calculated over a full season (one year). As a result, the points are not added up, but compared: there is no point loss, but just a comparison of the totals. So we are talking about "points to defend". All points earned in a tournament are held until the year and replace by your new result. Feel free to contact us directly in the game for more information. We'll do our best to help you. Game reliant on huge money spend for little result

Played this game for 5 weeks and spent $200 on gold bars and am still nowhere near good enough to compete with the top ranked players. App developers insistence you can reach number 1 by not purchasing add-ons is absolute nonsense and they’re fleecing you. Game play is great but the pokie machine-like draw to consistently spend money to get better is not, and you are chasing a carrot on a stick. I also noticed the number of gold bars needed to purchase certain things would fluctuate based on your current bankroll. Worst part is after my player reached 32 years old (and 78.5 skill level) I’m then told I can retire and start again and my training potential will be curbed if I continue with this player. The only difference being my new player will get the cash and gold bars (of which there is little given the constant need to train and pay coaches) I top ranked at 23 in the world & completed almost all of the gold bar challenges but never made it past a 3rd round of a grand slam. Game is a rort, but no doubt a great passive income for the developers. Avoid.
